Intermediate Java Developers

DataCreatives, a consulting / talent acquisition company is looking for an Intermediate Java Developer with the following skill sets with at least 3+ experience in Java development, to work with us and our clients in downtown Toronto.

 

Position: Intermediate Java Developer
Location: Downtown Toronto
Status: Contract
Start: Immediately
Rate: Negotiable based on experience

Technical Skills Required

3+ years solid hands-on experience with Java development
Experience with Spring, Struts2, Hibernate or iBatis
Experience with Web Services and XML technologies (SOAP, XSD, XMLBeans, etc…)
Understanding of architectural and database engineering
Experience with design patterns and modeling methodologies such as UML
Experience with multi-tiered enterprise software application design and development is a plus.
Knowledge of computer network infrastructures, technologies and protocols is a plus.

 

Nice to have:

Experience with Agile software development methodologies
Experience in Hadoop and/or MapReduce
Experience using Netbeans or other IDE proficiency
Experience in web technologies such as XHTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, Apache, AJAX.
Experience with XML, and XPATH.
Experience in developing applications using multiple programming/scripting languages including .Net.
Experience with JQUERY, Java, Python and Prototype/Sciptaculous AJAX framework
JSPs, Servlets and HTML

 

Other Requirements

Computer Science Degree or equivalent work experience
Ability to work under stressful conditions and produce high quality results;
Good interpersonal skills in order to interact with clients, technical staff, and third parties.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
