Lead Game Developer

DataCreatives, a technology consulting company is looking for a Lead Game Developer with the following skill sets with at least 5 years experience in the gaming industry, to work with our client in downtown Vancouver. 

Position: Lead Game Developer 
Location: Vancouver 
Status: Contract 
Start: Immediately 
Rate: Negotiable 

 

Technical Skills Required

Computer Science Degree or equivalent work experience 
3 - 5+ years of relevant game industry experience with excellent C++ programming skills 
Experience in console programming (Wii, XBox360, PSN) 
Experience in wide range of gameplay systems: 3rd person cameras, player control, AI, combat, game save interface and RPG rule systems.
Experience with multimedia software (Office, Adobe, Macromedia)

Ability to work under stressful conditions and produce high quality results 
Good interpersonal skills in order to interact with clients, technical staff, and third parties 
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
