SAP Financial Accounting (FI) Consultant

DataCreatives, a Vancouver BC based technology consulting company is looking for a SAP Financial Accounting Consultant with the following skill sets with at least 5+ years of SAP Financial Accounting experience to work with one of our clients in British Columbia.

 

Position: SAP Financial Accounting (FI) Consultant
Location: British Columbia
Rate: Negotiable based on experience

 

Responsibilities

Provide business solutions and support with focus on Finance and Accounts Payable.
Assist in the support of other financial modules (e.g., Accounts Receivable).
Create functional specifications for development requirements
Maintain support team documentation
System configuration
Functional integration testing
Implementation projects
Other tasks related to SAP financial modules

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or other related field.
Five years SAP configuration experience primarily in the FI/AP modulesv Demonstrate in depth understanding of key business processes in the area of FI/AP, as well competencies in process and application design
Previous experience implementing SAP FI/AP.v Customer focused and able to effectively communicate with a variety of groups
Experience working with the business in documenting requirements and translating to system design and competencies in process and application design.
Ability to translate business requirements into processes, and contribute to the development of how this will be supported in SAP
Demonstrate success in designing and implementing complex technical and functional solutions, identify gaps, addressed the gaps with solutions
