Senior SAP Portal Architect

DataCreatives, a technology consulting company is looking for a Senior SAP Portal Architect with the following skill sets with at least 7 years experience in SAP Portal Architecture, to work with our client in Burnaby. 

Position: Senior SAP Portal Architect 
Location: Vancouver 
Status: Contract 
Rate: Negotiable 

 

Responsibilities

Provide expert consultation to senior managers and technical team on portal platforms, and ERP integration approaches including e-business services.
Lead the definition and socialization of the technical architecture and work with stakeholders and technical resources to define key architectural decisions that set the foundation for providing a single point of entry to access e-business services.
Work at both high level strategy as well as hands-on technical analysis to help achieve optimal solutions.

Technical Skills Required

7 or more years of experience as an SAP Portals Architect
Experience developing architecture of, developing implementation plans for, and implementing external facing SAP portals.
Experience with current technology as well as industry trends including SAP roadmaps for portal, content delivery, knowledge management and e-business application.
Experience integrating external facing and internal facing portals.
Experience with load balancers, web dispatchers, firewalls, SSL etc. and how these are architected for an external portal solution.
Experience with Windows/AIX as OS and Microsoft SQL Server/Oracle as DB for SAP portals (preferable).
Understanding of how a variety of tools such as web dynpro, business client, visual composer, and adobe can be utilized to enhance the delivery of services and information.
Understanding of how SAP e-business services such as Biller Direct, TPOS (Tax Payer Online Services) are incorporated into the landscape
This position requires a senior level Portal Solution Architect with a minimum of 7 years experience in portal technology and architecture.
A strong technical background including skills with Enterprise Portal, java stack and networking
Superior communications skills are required.
Strong presentation, facilitation,listening and consensus building skills
