Sharepoint Developer

DataCreatives, a Vancouver, BC based technology consulting company is looking for a SharePoint Developer with the following skill sets with at least 4 years experience with SharePoint development, to work with us and our clients in downtown Vancouver

Status: Contract
Start: Immediately
Rate: Negotiable based on experience

 

Technical Skills Required

4+ years developing Web parts or Customizing SharePoint Portal experience
SharePoint 2007/2010 Administration experience required
In depth understanding of the capabilities of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server and Windows SharePoint Services
A background and understanding of SharePoint Portal 2007/2010 or WSS (either installation of or customization of both/each product.)
Developed knowledge of C#, ASP.NET (master pages, web parts, provider model, ADO.NET), SQL Server and IIS
Experience with SharePoint Templates (Application Templates, Master Pages, Role-Based Templates and the Community Kit for SharePoint)
Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML/XHTML, CSS and AJAX, with direct experience optimizing application designs utilizing these technologies
Minimum 6 years experience working in a development role within an Information Technology Department
Experience with, or enthusiasm for Agile development methodologies
SQL Server Reporting Services a strong plus
An individual who is a self learner, starter and someone who enjoys learning new technologies
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have:

Computer Science Degree or equivalent work experience
Ability to work under stressful conditions and produce high quality results;
Good interpersonal skills in order to interact with clients, technical staff, and third parties.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
