System Analyst

DataCreatives, a technology consulting company is looking for a System Analyst to work with one of our clients in downtown Seattle.

 

Our client is seeking a Systems Analyst (SA) to join their Implementation Department. The SA will work with a team, consisting of 2 Project Managers, to implement high quality customer solutions within the standard 3-5 month implementation cycle. The SA is specifically responsible for the technical implementation and configuration for approximately 15-18 assigned customers'. Beginning with project initiation through go-live, the Systems Analyst will translate and implement business requirements provided by the Project Manager into a technical solution specific to match the clients current system.

Rate: Negotiable based on experience

 

Requirements

Utilize technical skills, communication skills, and best practices knowledge to translate customer requirements into efficient and supportable technical specifications.
Utilize SQL and relational database knowledge to configure/implement customer solutions in a timely manner to meet all deadlines.
Ensure superior quality of deliverables through quality assurance testing.
Thrive in a team environment, working closely with the Project Manager to ensure on-time, high quality, successful implementations.
Demonstrate flexibility, agility, and the ability to multitask to meet changing priorities and demands from customers.
Contribute to ongoing initiatives for creating efficiencies through new tools and continuing process improvements  

 

Qualifications

Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
Experience working with relational databases
Experience working with and writing SQL
Experience with data import file scrubbing and loading
Experience working in a team environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work on multiple projects, in varying stages, at once
A high degree of patience and problem solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Microsoft SQL and SQL Server Enterprise Manager
Experience with software implementation in an ASP environment
Experience with Banner, LDAP and PeopleSoft
3 + years of professional experience in a technical role, preferably at a software company
Technical BSCS, BSEE college degree or equivalent.
