WebSphere Commerce Developer

DataCreatives, a Vancouver BC based technology consulting company is looking for a WebSphere Commerce Developer with the following skill sets with at least 6+ years of experience in J2EE Application Development to work with one of our clients in Vancouver

 

Position: WebSphere Commerce Developer
Location: Vancouver
Status: 8 month Contract
Start: Immediately
Rate: Negotiable based on experience

 

Requirements

5-6 years experience in J2EE Application Development
3-4 years experience in WebSphere Commerce
Ability to create proof-of-concept implementations of Commerce based applications using new and upgraded WebSphere technologies (e.g., Portal, MQ Series, Web Services / SOA, etc.)
Experience in Installation/Upgrade, configure, and tune WebSphere products (Commerce, WAS, WPS)
Experience in driving both the technical architecture of B2B and B2C implementations

 

Other Requirements

BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical field (MS a plus).
Demonstrated capacity for developing and understanding strategy.
Outstanding organizational and analytical skills.
Must be self motivated and have the ability to lead within a team environment.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
