WebSphere Portal Developer

DataCreatives, a Vancouver BC based technology consulting company is looking for a WebSphere Portal Developer with the following skill sets with at least 6+ years of experience in J2EE Application Development to work with one of our clients in Vancouver

 

Position: WebSphere Portal Developer
Location: Vancouver
Status: 8 month Contract
Start: Immediately
Rate: Negotiable based on experience

 

Requirements

3-5 years developing portal applications, including using WebSphere Portal 5,x and higher.
Strong Internet application development experience.
4+ years Java programming in a J2EE environment.
3+ years SQL or Sybase experience including stored procedures.
Experience integrating WebSphere, WebSphere Portal, LDAP, Tivoli, Oracle, and Lotus Notes environments.

 

Other Requirements

BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical field (MS a plus).
Demonstrated capacity for developing and understanding strategy.
Outstanding organizational and analytical skills.
Must be self motivated and have the ability to lead within a team environment.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
