Senior HTML/CSS Developers

DataCreatives, is currently looking for 2 HTML/CSS developers with the following skill sets with at least 5 - 8 years experience in Javascript, to work with us and our clients in Vancouver. 

Position: Senior HTML/CSS Developer 
Location: Vancouver 
Status: Contract 
Contract Period: 6 months (with possibility of full time hire) 
Start: Immediately 


Technical Skills Required 

Experience in HTML and Javascript with at least 5 - 8 years working experience 
Experience in web technologies such as XHTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, Apache, AJAX, Spring, Hibernate and SOAP. 
Experience working with JQUERY, AJAX framework, MooTools and Dojo 
Experience working in Symfony and PHP is a plus. 
Experience cropping and optimizing graphics for the web using Photoshop 
Experience in developing applications using multiple programming/scripting languages. 
Experience in cross browser development. 


Other Requirements 

A kick ass personal website that demonstrates technical and creative flair 
Computer Science Degree or equivalent work experience 
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other project team members, in particular those from the Creative team, Application Development and Quality Assurance. 
Strong problem solving and analytical skills demonstrated by the ability to assimilate new information, understand complex topics and arrive at sound analysis and judgment; 
Good interpersonal skills in order to interact with clients, technical staff, and third parties. 
Ability to work under stressful conditions and produce high quality results;
